Limited free usage of RBAC for prototyping and growing startups
Hi, I've played around with neo4j Aura and it perfectly fulfils all the needs of my startup except for the lack of RBAC / granular security. I understand that this is part of the enterprise tier which is fine but I would like to know if there are any plans for free limited use for this feature or scaleable payment options (I.e max number of free roles or role based requests)? This would be very useful in terms of designing, testing and prototyping more complex systems. As a startup I can see huge value in this proposition at the point at which the company is generating profits, however at the moment there is no way for a small company to make use of this critical feature. My only option currently is to implement custom RBAC which can be both time consuming and may be less secure. This limitation as a whole makes neo4j less desirable as a technology.
Aura Free Instance Pause Change
It would be helpful to change the Aura Free Instance Pause from 3 (three) days to 7 (seven) days. It seems the algorithm that triggers this response often goes off prematurely. In addition, when there are holiday and vacation times, there may be inadvertent inactivity. Having a 7 day window would be more reasonable and workable.
Local Neo4j graph db instance for Flutter (android/iOS) that syncs with AuraDB
Our team needs a flutter package that allows to run a local graph db instance in the app that can be used offline. Optionally this instance should be synced with AuraDB.
Support Triggers in APOC (base)
I see that triggers are not supported in Aura, probably because they were considered a part of APOC Extended. Which is not officially supported any more... Is there a chance to reconsider this? We really miss this functionality. There's no other tool that could calculate, for example, a number of relations and store them in a Node property – for faster and easier access. Implementing such things on the client side is clunky and error-prone.
Allow importing grass files
I want to be able to specify the default caption on an node without using the GUI in the Explore view. I read that I can define the defaultCaption using the :style command and then importing .grass file, but I get an error saying, 'The :style command is not currently available in workspace.' This would be very useful.
Resut as Image
It would be nice to provide result as an image itself, as its very helpful in building ML based apps, the same image thats displayed while quering it in Workspace of instance.
