AuraDB Virtual Dedicated Cloud

AuraDB Business Critical

Multiple Databases now in Public Preview

We're excited to announce that ahead of General Availability in the coming months, you can now try multiple databases within a single AuraDB Business Critical or Virtual Dedicated Cloud instance, in Public Preview, under experimental terms. This follows a successful early access private preview program this year.

Multiple databases in AuraDB let you run separate, individual databases inside one AuraDB instance, sharing that instance's compute and memory. Instead of spinning up separate instances for different use cases, you can combine them into one and manage them all from the same place. It's a lighter-weight way to separate data for different teams, environments, or tenants, with less overhead than managing multiple instances.

We're actively working on features ahead of General Availability. You can see exactly what's currently supported in the docs linked below.
We'd welcome your input over the next couple of months while we complete the feature set. Please try it out and share your experience using the
Feedback
button in the top right of the Console. For anything else, please use your usual Account Manager contacts, or raise via Customer Support.
