I was under the impression that Copy-and-Paste was completely broken. I use two keyboard layouts (AZERTY & BÉPO), and even when switching from one to the other it didn’t work. Using Edit > Copy in the menu did not help either, the clipboard was not updated when doing copy and still retained its old value.
I then noticed that using Cut seemed to work (although I thought it wasn’t working at first).
Then, today, I noticed that when switching my keyboard layout from BÉPO (where Copy wasn’t working) to AZERTY with the app running, Copy seemed to be working again. This wasn’t the case before, even today, in identical situations.
Then, when switching back to BÉPO, Copy was working this time! When it wasn’t working before!
If I didn’t record my screen, I would have thought I was crazy:
  • In the first video, Copy does not work in BÉPO (Ctrl+C or Edit -> Copy), only Cut works. Then, I switch to AZERTY and everything worked (which I wasn’t expecting, hence why I wrote it wasn’t working at 1:30 when it was actually working.) Then, I switch back to BÉPO and now it works.
  • In the second video, I quit and restarted Neo4j Desktop with BÉPO, exactly as before, and now everything works...
